Tweaking the map

The map showing the rights of way (ROWs) currently uses the settings shown in the following form. If the map isn't quite what you are after, alter the settings to what you want and then click the revisit this web page... button:

types of ROWs to be output
colours (and styles) used  for the ROWs
show transport stops such as bus stops

If you choose to customise the colours used for ROWs or for transport stops, you can type in any HTML colour. Here's a link to a web page that has examples of HTML colours. You can either type a colour's name, e.g: chartreuse or type a hash character followed by three hexadecimal pair of characters that indicate the intensity of red, green and blue.  So typing #7fff00 will also choose chartreuse.

It may help to know that:
a width of 800 and a height of 1066 works well
if you want to print a map in portrait mode
a zoom of at least 13 works well.

When you are happy with the settings, i.e.,it is producing the map you want, click on the following link:

If you include transport stops, then rowmaps will use the NaPTAN data that was available on 18th April 2024. The plan is to update every two months to the latest version of the data.
